PuroSPIN-96™ Plant Genomic DNA Purification Plus Kit

The PuroSPIN-96™ Plant Genomic DNA Purification Plus Kit is a high-throughput 96-well kit for purifying genomic DNA from a variety of plant species and tissue types. It simplifies purification with an easy-to-use extraction technology based on nucleic acid binding to a silica membrane in each well of a 96-well plate, eliminating toxic phenol-chloroform extraction and time-consuming alcohol precipitation.
Compared with our standard PuroSPIN-96™ Plant Genomic DNA Purification Kit, the Plus kit adds a 96-well plate filtration step that removes the insoluble and non-digested fraction from the lysate before it is loaded onto the 96-well silica plate. Plate filtration replaces removal of the insoluble fraction by centrifugation, which significantly simplifies and speeds up the 96-well purification process.
Note: our Universal Vacuum Manifold for 96-Well Plates and Double-Layer Vacuum Manifold for 96-Well Plates can only be used with the Semi-Skirted 96-well nucleic acid purification plate.
