A hydrophobic polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membrane with 0.45 µm pores for western blotting. PVDF has high mechanical strength, so blots can be stripped and re-probed.
0.45 µm pore size, best for proteins above 20 kDa (complete one-step transfer from about 10 kDa)

Pre-wet briefly in methanol or ethanol before equilibrating in transfer buffer, as with all PVDF
