SUMO Protease (Ulp1), Recombinant His-Tag, 2000 U
A recombinant His-tagged SUMO protease (Ulp1 fragment from S. cerevisiae) that recognises the folded SUMO tag and cleaves SUMO fusion proteins precisely, leaving the native N-terminus. The His tag lets you remove the protease afterwards on a Ni or Co resin.
- Recognises the SUMO structure, not a short sequence, for specific cleavage
- Active over a wide temperature range, 2-30 °C
- N-terminal His tag for easy removal after cleavage
- Supplied at 10 U/µL with 10X buffers and a control protein
