Mini-BeadBeater 16 ULTRA
The Mini-Beadbeater-16 is a high-performance bead mill homogenizer with enhanced safety, quieter operation, and modern design.
The Mini-BeadBeater-16 ULTRA is designed for rapid, reliable disruption of microbial cells and plant or animal tissues. Built on the proven Mini-BeadBeater platform, the ULTRA delivers powerful homogenization with exceptional noise reduction, simplified sample mounting, and enhanced operator safety—all in a compact bench top footprint.
The Mini-BeadBeater-16 ULTRA disrupts samples by violently agitating 4 to 16 screw-cap microvials containing ceramic or steel beads and extraction buffer. Even the toughest samples—such as bacterial spores or fibrous tissue—are completely homogenized in 2–3 minutes using as little as 0.1–1.0 mL of buffer.
In addition to wet homogenization, the Mini-BeadBeater-16 ULTRA can be used for dry grinding of friable materials or hard-frozen samples, making it a versatile tool for molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, and environmental research laboratories.
Available in Multiple Colours:
Available in Red, Blue, and Black, the Mini-BeadBeater-16 ULTRA lets you match your equipment to your lab’s style, workflow, or organizational needs. Color options make it easy to visually differentiate instruments between workstations, users, or applications—without compromising performance.
