PuroSPIN™ High-Concentration Spin Columns

PuroSPIN™ High-Concentration Spin Columns bind up to 100 µg of plasmid DNA on a silica membrane. The column is built for large sample volumes and small elution volumes. A 15 mL reservoir screws directly onto each column, so you can load large volumes of cleared lysate without transferring to a bigger column or loading in small aliquots. Once the sample has passed through, remove the reservoir and wash and elute on the column as usual.
Because the DNA is eluted in only 150-200 µL, the final concentration is typically 300-600 µg/mL, roughly six times what a conventional midiprep returns. The eluate is ready for transfection, sequencing, digestion, or PCR without a further concentration step.
The columns work with a standard centrifuge or a vacuum manifold, and they sit in standard 50 mL conical tubes, so no special rotor or adapter is needed.
