A luminol-based enhanced chemiluminescence (ECL) substrate for detecting HRP-conjugated antibodies on western blots, with femtogram sensitivity. Cover the membrane for 1-2 minutes, then expose: designed for the weakest bands and very low-abundance targets.
- Femtogram sensitivity for HRP-labelled secondary antibodies
- Two solutions, A and B, mixed 1:1 at room temperature just before use; use the working solution within 1 day
- Detect on X-ray film or a digital chemiluminescence imager
- Store at 2-8 °C for 12 months; if crystals form in the cold, warm and vortex
