PuroMAG™ Poly-T Magnetic Beads

PuroMAG™ Poly-T Magnetic Beads are designed for capture and purification of mRNA molecules from various biological sample matrices. The surface of the beads is densely coated with covalently conjugated oligo(dT) (Poly-T) ssDNA capture probes. When incubated with the solution containing mRNA, Poly-A tails of mRNA hybridize with the Poly-T sequences on the bead surface, effectively capturing mRNA onto the microbead surface. Captured mRNA is then washed to remove all impurities, and is either released from the beads, or used directly for downstream applications (such as cDNA synthesis).
 
Strong magnetic core allows PuroMAG™ Magnetic Beads to be separated out of solution with magnets in under 30 seconds. This allows for easy processing with magnetic racks, removing the need for a centrifuge.
 
PuroMAG™ Magnetic Bead technology can also be used with automated extraction systems for high throughput nucleic acid purification.
