PuroBLUE 2X Universal qPCR Master Mix
PuroBLUE 2X Universal qPCR Master Mix is a specialized 2X pre-mix for qPCR reactions using the SYBR Green I chimeric fluorescence method.
The core component Taq DNA Polymerase is a hot-start DNA polymerase based on the antibody method of confinement, which can effectively inhibit non-specific amplification under low-temperature conditions. It is paired with a reaction Buffer optimized for qPCR.
This Master mix is suitable for qPCR reactions which are highly specific and sensitive. It provides a good standard curve within a wide quantitative region and accurately and reproducibly quantify the target gene. This product contains a special ROX Passive Reference Dye, which is suitable for use in all qPCR instruments, and there is no need to adjust the ROX concentration on different instruments.
The Master Mix solution includes a blue tracer dye, and a second yellow tracer dye is provided as a 40X concentrate for template dilution. When the template, diluted with the provided yellow dye, is mixed with the blue Master Mix solution, the colour of the mixture changes to green. Specific colour of each reaction component and the combined mixture allows for visual tracing of reaction set up steps. This facilitates accurate reaction setup by minimizing the chance of incorrect solution addition steps. The spectra of the blue and yellow tracer dyes do not overlap with that of the SYBR Green I dye, and therefore do not affect the results of qPCR reaction.
Storage
Store at -20 °C, valid for 12 months. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles
