Q (quaternary ammonium) HF Ion Exchange Resin
Product Description
Q (quaternary ammonium) HF Ion Exchange Resin is a strong anion exchange resin used in chromatography for the purification of biomolecules. It consists of crosslinked 6% agarose beads with covalently attached quaternary ammonium (Q) functional groups, which have a permanent positive charges. The bead size is smaller than Q FF AgaDex Ion exchange resin making it ideal for polishing steps where fine separation is needed.
Product Features
- Provides high resolution due to the smaller, more uniform bead size. This allows for more efficient separation of similarly charged molecules.
- Ideal for smaller-scale, high-resolution purification in process development and research settings.
- Used for separating molecules that are very similar to each other, such as separating a target protein from host cell impurities.
- Offers superior dynamic binding capacity (DBC) at high flow rates compared to FF resins.
Storage
Store at 4-30 °C, valid for 12 months.
