A kit for isolating intact mitochondria from animal tissue (by homogenization) and from cultured cells (by homogenization or reagent lysis), using differential centrifugation. Isolated mitochondria can be used for western blotting, protein profiling and other downstream studies.

Includes a storage solution to keep isolated mitochondria
Homogenizer and protease inhibitors are not included
