PMSF Solution, 100 mM Ready-to-Use Serine Protease Inhibitor

Phenylmethylsulfonyl fluoride (PMSF) supplied as a ready-to-use 100 mM solution, so there is no powder to weigh or dissolve. PMSF irreversibly inhibits serine proteases and is added fresh to lysis and extraction buffers to protect proteins from degradation.
Ready-to-use 100 mM stock: dilute 1:100 for a 1 mM working concentration
Inhibits serine proteases (and thiol proteases) during cell and tissue lysis
Add to the buffer just before use, as PMSF is short-lived in water
Two pack sizes: 1 mL, or 50 mL for busy labs (the 50 mL pack is packed to order, so allow extra lead time)
