Penicillin-Streptomycin-Amphotericin B Solution, 100X Antibiotic Additive

A 100X additive that pairs penicillin and streptomycin with amphotericin B. One addition to culture medium protects against both bacterial and fungal contamination.
How it works
Penicillin blocks bacterial cell wall synthesis and streptomycin, an aminoglycoside, interferes with bacterial protein synthesis. Amphotericin B is an antifungal that binds to ergosterol in fungal cell membranes, so yeast and mould contamination is covered as well as bacteria.

How to use
Add the solution to culture medium at 1:100, which is 1 mL per 100 mL of medium (10 mL per litre).
Mix gently and use the supplemented medium as normal.
