Anti-Clumping Agent, Chemically Defined, Protein-Free Concentrate
A chemically defined, protein-free concentrate that is added to culture medium to reduce cell clumping, mainly in suspension cultures.
How it works
In suspension culture, cells can stick together into clumps that limit nutrient exchange and make counting and passaging harder. A chemically defined anti-clumping agent in the medium helps keep cells dispersed. Because it contains no protein, it adds no animal-derived components to your medium.
