Laboratory Pure Water, 0.1 µm Filtered, Low Endotoxin
Laboratory pure water made by electrodeionization (EDI) and distillation, then passed through a 0.1 µm filter, for preparing solutions and reagents in the lab.
How it works
Electrodeionization removes dissolved ions and distillation removes dissolved solids and many other impurities. The 0.1 µm filtration step then takes out fine particles, and the finished water is held to low conductivity and low endotoxin levels, which makes it suitable as a clean base for laboratory preparation work.
Key features
- Made by EDI plus distillation
- Filtered through 0.1 µm
- Conductivity below 5 µS/cm
- Endotoxin below 0.25 EU/mL
How to use
- Use it as the diluent or solvent when preparing buffers and reagent solutions.
- If your application needs sterile or nuclease-free water, check that this water suits it or treat it first, as it is not stated to be either.
