Penicillin-Streptomycin-Gentamicin Solution, 100X Antibiotic Additive

A 100X antibiotic additive that combines penicillin, streptomycin and gentamicin in one solution. A single addition to culture medium gives protection against a broad range of bacterial contaminants.
How it works
The three antibiotics act in different ways. Penicillin blocks bacterial cell wall synthesis, while streptomycin and gentamicin are aminoglycosides that interfere with bacterial protein synthesis. Combining them widens the range of bacteria the medium is protected against compared with a single antibiotic.

How to use
Add the solution to culture medium at 1:100, which is 1 mL per 100 mL of medium (10 mL per litre).
Mix gently and use the supplemented medium as normal.
