Penicillin-Streptomycin-Glutamine Solution, 100X Culture Additive

A 100X additive that adds penicillin, streptomycin and glutamine to cell culture medium in one step, combining antibacterial protection with a glutamine supplement.
How it works
Penicillin blocks bacterial cell wall synthesis and streptomycin, an aminoglycoside, interferes with bacterial protein synthesis, which helps protect the culture from bacterial contamination. Glutamine is an amino acid that cultured cells use as a nitrogen and energy source, and it breaks down gradually in liquid medium, so it is commonly topped up when medium is prepared.

How to use
Add the solution to culture medium at 1:100, which is 1 mL per 100 mL of medium (10 mL per litre).
