PuroScript™ First Strand cDNA Synthesis SuperMix for PCR
The PuroScript™ First Strand cDNA Synthesis SuperMix for PCR provides a 5× ready-to-use premix (5× PuroScript™ First Strand cDNA Synthesis SuperMix for PCR) designed specifically for first-strand cDNA synthesis. To perform the reaction, only the RNA template and Nuclease-Free Water need to be added.
The premix contains all essential components for reverse transcription, including PuroScript™ RT, RNase Inhibitor, Oligo(dT)₁₈ Primer, Random Primer, dNTPs, and an optimized buffer system. By adjusting the proportion of Oligo(dT)₁₈ and Random Primers, and utilizing the mutant PuroScript™ RT—an enzyme with high thermal stability and strong processivity developed through in vitro evolutionary screening—the kit enables synthesis of first-strand cDNA fragments up to 15 kb within a temperature range of 42°C to 55°C.
The resulting cDNA can be used directly for downstream PCR amplification, offering a simple workflow while minimizing the risk of contamination.
Storage
Store at -20 °C, valid for 12 months. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
