One-Step Rapid Mycoplasma Detection Kit, Isothermal LAMP, 50 Reactions
A one-step isothermal (LAMP) kit that detects mycoplasma in culture supernatant by a visible colour change. Each kit covers 50 reactions.
How it works
LAMP (loop-mediated isothermal amplification) copies target DNA at a single constant temperature, so no thermal cycler is needed. If mycoplasma DNA is present in the supernatant, it is amplified and the reaction mix changes colour, giving a quick visual result.
Key features
- Uses 1 µL of culture supernatant
- 65 °C for 30 minutes
- Visual colour-change readout
- Detects 8 mycoplasma species
- 50 reactions per kit
How to use
- Collect culture supernatant from cells that have been in culture for a few days.
- Add 1 µL of supernatant to the reaction mix.
- Incubate at 65 °C for 30 minutes and read the colour change.
