How it works
Viral particles and cell membranes both carry a negative charge, so they repel each other. Polybrene is a positively charged polymer that reduces this repulsion and helps lentiviral and retroviral particles reach and enter cells, which raises transduction efficiency.

How to use
Dilute the stock into culture medium to the working concentration for your cell type, since some cells are sensitive to it.
Add the virus to the medium containing Polybrene and apply it to the cells.
Change to fresh medium after the incubation time set by your protocol.
