How it works
Firefly luciferase is a reporter enzyme. When cells carry a reporter construct, the amount of luciferase they make reflects the activity of the promoter driving it. The enzyme uses its substrate to produce light, so the luminescence measured from the cell lysate reports how active your promoter or signalling pathway is.

How to use
Lyse transfected cells with the lysis buffer.
Mix the substrate with the buffer to make the working solution.
Add 100 µL of working solution to 20 µL of lysate and read the luminescence.
