A DHE fluorescence kit for measuring reactive oxygen species (ROS) in tissue homogenates, supplied with homogenisation buffer. Each kit covers 100 tests.
How it works
Dihydroethidium (DHE) is oxidised by superoxide to a red fluorescent product that binds DNA, so the red signal rises with the level of superoxide-type ROS in the sample. This kit is set up for tissue samples that are homogenised before measurement.

How to use
Homogenise the tissue in the homogenisation buffer.
Add DHE to the homogenate at the dilution in the protocol (0.2 µL of the 500X per test) and incubate.
Read the red fluorescence on a plate reader and compare with control tissue.
