ATP Luminescence Cell Viability Assay Kit, Single Ready-to-Use Reagent
An ATP luminescence assay that measures viable cells by their ATP content, using one ready-to-use reagent and a stable glow-type signal. The 10 mL pack covers about 100 tests.
How it works
Only living cells make ATP, and ATP disappears quickly when cells die. The reagent lyses the cells and uses their ATP to drive a luciferase reaction that gives off light, so the luminescence is proportional to the number of viable cells. The glow-type signal stays steady long enough to read a plate without rushing.
Key features
- Single ready-to-use reagent, add-mix-read
- Glow-type luminescent signal
- 10 mL is about 100 tests at 100 µL per well
How to use
- Culture and treat cells in an opaque-walled multi-well plate.
- Add the reagent to the wells and mix to lyse the cells.
- Read the luminescence on a plate luminometer.
