A BrdU detection kit for immunofluorescence (IF) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining, supplied with the buffers and the anti-BrdU primary antibody. Each kit covers 100 tests.
How it works
BrdU is a thymidine analogue that cells build into new DNA while they replicate. After labelling, the DNA is opened with acid so that an anti-BrdU antibody can reach the incorporated BrdU, and the antibody then marks the cells that were dividing.

Permeabilisation buffer, 3% BSA blocking solution, 4% PFA and 1 M HCl, 30 mL each
BrdU itself and a secondary antibody are not included
How to use
Label cells or tissue with BrdU, then fix with 4% PFA.
Permeabilise, treat with 1 M HCl, and block with the BSA solution.
Apply the anti-BrdU antibody, then your own secondary antibody and detection reagents, and image.
